Vatican Museums
Vatican Museums and the famous Sistine Chapel can be reached directly on foot in five minutes.
It’s enough to reach subway stop Cipro, cross the street at the (light controlled) pedestrian crossing’, walk down for a few hundred meters until you reach the stairs in front of Vatican Museums.
Saint Peter’s Basilica
Saint Peter’s Basilica can be easily reached on foot.
A 20 minutes walking allows you to reach the Vatican walls and then the colonnade behind which the St. Peter’s Basilica suddenly appears.
Castel Sant’Angelo
It can be easily reached on foot from Piazza San Pietro.
A walk of 20 minutes throuh the Prati district, where you can admire one of the main shopping street, Via Cola di Rienzo, allows you to reach Castel Sant’Angelo.
Piazza di Spagna
Piazza di Spagna and the famous Spanish Step can be reached by the subway in fifteen minutes.
Metro Station “Spagna” is only 4 metro stops from “Cipro” Station.
From Piazza di Spagna you can easily reach Via Condotti and all the shopping streets enclosed in the so called “Trident” of the historic center of Rome.
Fontana di Trevi
The Trevi Fontain can be reached by the subway in fifteen minutes.
Metro Station “Barberini” is only 5 metro stops from “Cipro” Station.
In the center of Piazza Barberini you can admire the famous Triton Fountain and yoy can also reach Via Veneto made famous by the movie “La Dolce Vita” by Federico Fellini.
Colosseum
Colosseum and Roman Forum can be reached by the subway in thirty minutes.
Metro Station “Barberini” is only 9 metro stops from “Cipro” Station (7 to “Termini” Station and 2 from “Termini” Station to “Colosseo” Station).
From Colosseum you can easily reach Piazza del Campidoglio, Circus Maximus and Mouth of Truth (Bocca della Verità in italian).
